I understand they "sponsor" young boys all around the world.

Perhaps you ask should ask some of the victims of abuse who recounted on this forum how abuse affected them whether it be from priests, teachers or football coaches and if they can find anything remotely funny about your little remark.
Perhaps you could start with Paul Stewart a former player of ours and a big tough Wythenshawe lad. Having heard him tell his sad story in tears especially how he couldn't tell his mum and dad what happened to him because of how it would hurt them and his dad died without knowing l doubt he would share your sense of humour.

The apparent lack of coaching given to Rashford and Greenwood has bemused me.
