I recently had a similar conversation where he said about not being able to compete with Abu Dhabi, the comment was made about the Glazers taking out a the same amount of money as we have spent. I asked him why this was such a big issue given that they have spent pretty much the same as we have. His answer as expected was that they could have spent it on better players.

So what he is saying is that he doesn't want FFP as he just wants to outspend anyone else, They need to make their minds up exactly what they want.
 
Christ - the Alty man has got his work cut out tonight to engineer a result. If he doesn't, his kids will be in tears when he gets home tonight. He can't bottle another penalty decision in the second half.
