Why are the soccer commentariat so certain that these can “potentially challenge” next season? Yes they have a steady front three and Fernandes is finally a good signing, but then their depth is pretty bad for a top team. And they still strike me as a bit one dimensional.

I don’t know that they are miles better than Mouroinho Spurs, Artetas revitalized Arsenal, Wolves or an Everton with a match winner and a proper coach.

It’s you lot as major favorites, us 2nd easily then a big batch of teams following for #3-8 just like this season.
