I think the delegate OGS refers to is the one who Utd appoint to look after the ref for the day. I know Steve Howey does it for Newcastle and Terry Hibbert used to for Wolves. However, they have no say whatsoever in the assessment process. In fact the 3 assessors are not even at the ground and this is done remotely the day after.and there is no reason why it would change. Mourinho and klopp would be straight to the press if they were told the ref had made a mistake. It would undermine the whole process.
This is why The Paperboy should be pulled up about it. It is a blatant lie.
Complete & utter BS & the media have lapped it up. Have not heard one person disputing this in the media
