Definitely a criminal conviction,it went way beyond what is acceptable on a field of play and constituted a good ABH.

On a tangent,and its been said many times before,but it still irks with me......the reaction,or rather non reaction,of our other players towards Keane as he stood over a distressed teammate in clear agony......was nothing short of a disgrace,they should have been ashamed at such a lack of intervention/bollocks.

Andy Morrison speaks about this in his book. He says that he doesn’t want to give it the big un saying he’d do this, this, that or the other but he explained that he would have ran over and ‘we’d have taken it from there....’
