His numbers for Lisbon were immense (and fair play to him, he's kept churning them out). But despite that no other "big" club was seemingly interested. There's likely to be a reason for that: wages, attitude, injury/physical condition, combination of all these.I know we have to hate the cunts, but there's no point pretending to ourselves. Bruno is a top class player, he would have fitted into our team and Pep would def have got a tune out of him. If it's true that we did go in for him, he's shown that he's not serious about winning big things by choosing United at this point. If he really was, he'd have forced the move through. As it is, he's sharing a midfield with McTominay, Fred, Matic and Pogba who wants to leave. Unlucky.
The test for me on other players is "would I want them playing for us"? Like Salah, the answer is a big "no" from me.
