Yep, he resigned his position at UEFA the previous Saturday to take up a vice chairman position in the ESL but of course the Rags PR ie Sky, BBC won’t report the facts and spinning this shit that the brainless fans will lap up.

yep so so funny when all the so called elite board members jumped ship from uefa the mary rose
only to find themselves being picked up by the titanic super league

uefa should take a long hard look at themselves and know they would jump ship if it meant earning more money or stop winning the big prize every season

I was distressed to see our emblem shown alongside the other 5 English 'founder members' of the so called ESL on Match of the day over the weekend.
I could not believe what I was seeing. Collaborating with the enemy is what it felt like. Very uneasy I was.
It felt like we were selling our soul and principles for the sake of making money.
I can understand why we did it, but it hurt just the same.
The thought of collaborating with the enemy like that messed with my conscience and thankfully we withdrew from the cartel.
Hopefully the clubs' owners will have learned a lesson from this episode and never consider doing anything like that ever again.
Climbing into bed with the enemy.
Never, NEVER, again.

An open letter to the Glazer family,
Dear Joel and the other one,
Here is an idea, get a U. S. soccer licence and move your wallet, ergh team over to the states. Leave the debt behind, it would be a great wake up call to the other greedy pigs in the trough and everyone will be happy.

Yours.
B. Mist

Yet it always missing when they are showing a list of English teams in the Champions League.

The glazers are not the problem.they have given the managers the tools to win they use the debt they have created to mask over the bad recruitment and buying players to compete with us instead of building a team to compete
Correct.

If the managers/the equaliser had invested the money in a targetted way, I.e. buying the players they needed, rather than behaving like magpies and grabbing the shiniest trinkets they could see, they might have actually won some more trophies over the last ten years, than just the one FA Cup, aided by a very dodgy refereeing performance by Clattenbent, a League Cup, during the run to which they defeated our reserves and kids, a European trophy that is based on failure and a glorified friendly.

A serious question; does rat-face Neville, carry enough influence with the GPC to take Woodwards job? From this side of the pond, it sure seems as if he's angling for it.
Frankly, I couldn't give a rats pitoot, but think it would be a wonderful development. #SORF coming soon.

has no idea about running a business of that size. Whatever we think of Woodward, he’s an experienced business man.

and a ****.

I actually don't think it's that unlikely.

Everyone has their limit, and Woodward has been the Glazer's lightning rod for 10 years now. There comes a point when you've earned so much, and the threats against your family get so wearing and you just ride off into the sunset.

I thought it was notable that the glazers were the ones photographed at meetings with Perez, Agnelli, Marotta, Henry. Not Woodward, but Joel and Avi.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Woodward saw the superleague had failed, knew the Glazers were either going to try again or sell up, and decided he'd had enough.

The problem is a lot of people have turned him into some sort of pantomime villain rather than the overpromoted accountant he is.
This Sly Sports report is a bit different from this quote in the NY Times article:-

Ceferin, stern-faced, then excoriated the breakaway group in his first comments to reporters. He reserved specific vitriol for Manchester United’s Woodward, who he felt had misled him, and for Agnelli. Ceferin called the men “snakes” and “liars,” and described how they had led him to believe he had their full support for the Champions League revisions.

But I guess stories like this do not get clicks

They will do on here.

I am just sad than whatever happens regarding restructuring of the CL etc, this rancid fucking club and all the hype which surrounds it , will continue to exist .

yep

uefa will happily with open arms welcome them back. even if they shit all over them uefa are nothing without them
the truth is they would walk away if the media and broadcasters backed the super league
