He was on the pitch last night at the end of the game, why?? It's odd. I believe the paperboy and coaching staff are taking training and front of house but Ferguson is taking team talks and organising tactics.
Now it all makes sence. He's a failed manager in his own right but......to the outsiders he's supersub, the golden boy and a pretty good face of Untied. saf meanwhile is doing the ' behind the scenes ' donkey work, what he's good at but Ole is to be seen taking the credit. Morcambe and Wise, Abbott and Costello, Cannon and Ball etc etc.

United are STILL so fucked. Long live Ole!

But that club are now the mirror of City back in the dark days, failed managers, money troubles, stadium troubles, relying on old players, good players want to leave.

And Rashford wtf! He epitomizes everything that is wrong at United - Over Bloated and deified by the media (Because he is clickbait) but actually watching him you notice its all about just him, no hard work unless it is for his benefit, he doesnt track back, the guy needs a good kick up the arse not the hero worship our red media have bestowed upon him.

The worst thing that could happen from our pov is United sack Ole and bring in a modern, forward looking manager who can actually man manage!

But they're fucked, totally.. because the clickbait media and their politicised fanbase wont allow it, it's like they're running on glue and tar

And with regard to Rashford when they look at his future at the club you can bet that his knighthood and media presence will be every bit as much of a consideration as his actual football ability.

The paperboy is a great front man for them. He's one of their treble winners. He comes out with all the right soundbites, "The United way" and all that bollocks. Lots of the fans want to believe in him so he's got time. Their perception of improving is a bit warped though. They might consider being in a European final progress but it's not really is it? It's a competition they were only in because they failed in the champions league and the standard is a lot poorer. Even then they lost to a small team who come from a town of 50,000 and had never won a trophy in their history. They finished 12 points behind us and if we weren't resting players due to having as good as won the league it would have been a bigger margin.

The media do a good job of pushing the narrative that they are rebuilding, they can't compete with us financially which is utter bollocks. They've spent almost a billion pounds building this squad. They pay out higher transfer fees than we do and pay more wages to attract players, Sanchez being the perfect example. With the money they've spent they should be doing better but thankfully they're not. If we get a couple of world class additions in this transfer window the gap could grow even bigger. Let's hope so.

rashford at city under pep would be a special player ? much like sterling city & pep worked hard on him and give him the confidence and the time. its only this season sterling has dropped a level or he is not happy at being left out of the champions league team

i used to say the only player pep would want from united was rashford ? but after last night i think the hype and all the of the pitch stuff has done for him and it will be hard to get it back

Exactly , Alan "look at my world Cup medal" Ball was another one like that, why his younger players hated him and had no respect.

Ferguson is yesterdays man, even at his best a wonderful man manager but weak tactically, especially in Europe.
Ferguson lurking in the background is not helping things at United. They had a similar issue with Matt Busby till they essentially pushed him out. One of the smartest moves Liverpool did was to ban Shankly from the training ground. They got a lot of flak for it but it was a good call.
Ferguson's presence just confirms Solskjaer's role as a poodle and must be one of the reasons the players show him little or no respect. Having baconface giving the team little pep talks before big games is pathetic. Can you imagine Pep (or any serious manager) allowing that sort of thing on a match day. The club has become a laughing stock. Long may it last.

We owe sky and the rest of the lickspittles and leeches across the broader media a huge debt of gratitude for maintaining this facade, this illusion that the rags were, are and always will be a global sporting powerhouse.

There are none so blind as those that cannot see.
