The Glazers have been touting the club around for at least two years. They must have been gutted when the Saudis bought Newcastle. I stll think they are keen to cash in but not many have deep enough pockets to buy a club with £500m debt and at least £500m needed on the infrastructure before you even start looking at the squad. The failure of the Super League project has just piled even more pressure on the Glazers. These are fantasatic times to be a City fan.

The Saudis might have more money than god, but PIF are like our owners, they're an investment fund first and foremost. City and Newcastle were cheap as chips with little or no debt and bags of potential for growth, that's the sort of investment they're looking for.

Utd aren't any of those things.

That's why this sports washing is a load of bollocks, if that was their game they'd be in the market for the glamour clubs at any cost.

As I said in the matchday thread, Saturday's match was like watching the football equivalent of three kids throwing a ball just over a dog's head for a full 90mins. The dog legged it about getting excited about a ball, but it was never, ever going to get it.

United were totally and utterly dominated from the first minute to the last, and as Souness apparently said in the after match analysis, I have NEVER seen that happen in a football match, in the top flight of English football, in my entire life.

The chasm between the two clubs (off and on the pitch) is so much bigger than just huge.

I've been smiling ever since, secure in the knowledge that so many scum fans probably went to bet at about 9pm on Saturday just so that the day could end as quickly as possible for them.

The entitled knobheads had it so good for so long that they now have absolutely ZERO mechanism or idea of how to cope with the shit that they have now become...

...and it's fucking brilliant to see.

Thank you HRH.
Thank you Pep.
Thank you everyone connected with Manchester City, both on and off the pitch.

Yeah, but at least a dog could stop and lick its balls.

Ah, best Dad of all time, Dwight. He was on Talksport (OK, I know I shouldn't but,) this morning and again stressed how brilliant this Utd team was. And confirmed the fact by saying that world class stars such as Rashford, Sancho and De Beek cant even get in the team. C'mon chairmen hire this man.
Not sure how committed to youth Dwight would be seeing as he hasn’t seen his disabled son since he was 10

What can they do?

He's on £500k pw at least for 2/3 years, they'll not unload him anywhere on those wages & he'll never just fuck off being a lifelong rag (apart from when he was a very good player).
I agree they are stuck with him. I'm talking about having the balls to drop him or sub him when it's better for the team.
