It was ruled out for handball, the ball just brushed his hand (accidentally) before he put it in the net. And, a little while later, we thought we’d won it.
Until the Elk's goal was ruled out for offside.
It was fairly predictable that the right would seek to discredit him at the first opportunity.Article coming out tomorrow from the Spectator about Saint Marcus and how he has allegedly benefited commercially from all his campaigns over the last 18 months.
Be interesting to read.
Indeed, will be interesting to see if he’s actually done anything that many other sportsmen/celebrities haven’t done. If not, then you’d have to ask why are they going after him. I suspect we already know the answer to that though.Surely let’s wait until what they produce, it could be true after all.
People profit from things a lot worse. If he has profited who cares? He deserves it!Article coming out tomorrow from the Spectator about Saint Marcus and how he has allegedly benefited commercially from all his campaigns over the last 18 months.

No chance it Is actually rashford himself who tweets from that account. Be some big PR company handling all his social media stuffHe is on Twitter trying to take the sting out the article .
As @gordondaviesmoustache (I think) said recently, that’s such a wank sobriquet. Obviously I had to Google what it meant first (sobriquet that is, not wank).Silly Sally must be sick with worry !
Feel like every thread these days has a political jibe in them one way or the other. Utterly tiresome and tedious to read. United have more than enough twats for us to abuse without bringing anymore into it. *awaits to be banned*It was fairly predictable that the right would seek to discredit him at the first opportunity.
He is quite literally a saint matePeople profit from things a lot worse. If he has profited who cares? He deserves it!
He literally fed thousands of children within the last year and made sure they didn't go hungry. That obviously makes him far more marketable and profitable.
We all know the real reasons he's being attacked.
Don't care he's a United player, he's a very decent person and a credit to this country and this city.
Sorry, maybe I should have said the “right-wing press” instead. If you don’t think this Spectator piece will be politically motivated though then that’s up to you.Feel like every thread these days has a political jibe in them one way or the other. Exactly, and Rashford isn’t really one of them. *why would I ban you for that?*United have more than enough twats for us to abuse without bringing anymore into it. *awaits to be banned*

He definitely has a savvy PR team behind him, as most players do, and this pre-emptive move is probably another example of that. Like you say though, he comes across as a genuinely decent guy and really don’t think his campaigning for school meals was commercially motivated. Anyway, I guess we’ll see tomorrow what the Spectator are actually alleging. His campaign on feeding school children was brilliant and deserves a lot of praise for that. However since then “he” seems to have jumped on anything relevant with his two pennies worth.
I say “he” as I don’t believe a lot of it is him, more so who represents him. He is quite obviously a good lad with a big heart but the cynic in me suggests he’s been taken advantage of.
Even for a United player I hope he himself doesn’t take any flak for it, but the fact that he’s had to come out with a lengthy statement (for twitter) the day before suggests “he” or whoever represents him is worried about what will be published.
