Think it goes without saying that this bloke is probably in the top 5 most hated footballers for us City fans in the 21st Century, yet we will all put that aside and empathise with what has happened to him and his family here.

Nobody deserves to go through this.

Yep. Whatever you think of him on the pitch, that is a horrible thing to happen. It's not happened to me but I have friends and families who've lost babies and nobody deserves to go through that.

Awful news and my sympathies go out to Ronaldo and his family. Football divides us, creates hatred and division, but when something as tragic as this happens, those rivalries are cast aside without a moments hesitation. RIP little one
