I just quickly popped into the Caf to make sure they all had their helmets on and apparently they have worked it out

I shit you not! All by themselves as well!

Apparently they have been releasing the wrong player. They have been trying to release Pogba but it turns out they should have be releasing Bruno. With Donny. At least until they can get somebody “half decent”

Apparently it’s something called “management” - it sounds fab!

Personally I think we could do with keeping them all off the sugary drinks this afternoon.

I’ll let you know how it goes

Dwight Yorke by a country mile. I would say he is a moron in the clinical sense. Having met him, and been in his company for about an hour at a social event in Glasgow about 15 years ago, I speak with a level of personal experience on the matter. He is a palpably stupid man.

Don’t agree that Ferdinand is thick. Just because someone isn’t especially articulate doesn’t mean they are unintelligent. Some of the smartest people I’ve dealt with can barely read and write. Think Ferdinand expresses his thoughts in a far clearer and more coherent manner than Yorke, who isn’t capable of independent thought imo.

fwiw, would also say Owen, Beckham and Robson (who didn’t make your list) are discernibly thicker than Ferdinand. Far duller too, especially the first two who are sinfully dull.

Hargreaves, Fletcher and Keane shouldn’t be in there (again imo) as they are relatively bright.
I don’t disagree with your ex-player analysis there but I am unsure how you can think Rio is anything other than thick if the only thing you have to base his intelligence on is his inarticulate ramblings on TV.

I remember trying to reassure myself that every dog has his day but thinking these bl**dy dogs are having way too long in the sun. I remember thinking that eventually Fergie is going to have to retire and while the club revolves around him so much the transition would be just like post Busby. I remember thinking that rich benefactors seemed to be able to take what I thought were clubs no bigger than ours and turn them into winning machines. I guess at the end of the days I was hanging onto hope and dreaming.

But wow, I never dreamt it would be so good! I never dreamt we would surpass them both on and off the pitch. I mean if our club continues to handle things as well as they are and the rags continue to mess things up (like happened the other way around post 1979) then the possibilities are endless. We could surpass them for PL titles, CL titles, FA Cups. We could acquire the majority of young impressionable new fans nationally, maybe even internationally. At the end of the day this is how the redtops grew into what they are today. I don’t even care if I don’t live to see the fruition of this, I am just happy to experience the process.

In actual fact it wouldn’t bother me that much if it all came crashing down, because I will still love this club and the ride would have been a great buzz to look back on. CTID.
Same sentiment here. I am grateful for what we've had so far.

I’m 77 and, apart from a few years in the 70s, it’s the first time in my lifetime that the rags actually feel irrelevant. It’s glorious and I’m drinking it in! Long may it continue, they are, and have always been a despicable, cheating, self-entitled club.
I think the measure of irrelevance is a rather simple thing. They might be irrelevant in terms of affecting what is happening at the top of the PL, but when I watched the Swindon game, at some point in the second half, I turned to Mrs Ewing and said "Hey, that's the third time the Rags have had a mention during our game' I didn't watch the Rags v Villa match so I don't know whether we got FOUR mentions or not, but they are still 'relevant' to a lot of hacks trying to earn a crust in the RDAHMeedya. Ask the simple question to any of those at Media City to name the most 'relevant' clubs in the PL that would have a bearing on the final league positions they would have no trouble getting the Rags in pretty soon. The other thing that still gets pumped out is, in the aftermath of a giant being slain in the FACup, is the question 'Who would you like in the next round? It might be from the point of view of who can we beat on their Swamp or which ground will generate us a cash windfall, but the multiple answer invariably includes Mansh United!

Not to mention how 'relevant' they are when trying to stop us through underhand tactics off the pitch.

I’m making them irrelevant in my head anyway and, to be honest, I think the tripe being spouted out of Media City is decreasing. The more often City fans call them out on social media, the better.
