I know I shouldn’t be getting this level of glee out of what’s happening to the rags ...... but then I think back. The banner, the unjustifiable decisions they got, the added time, the media bias, the endless number of players who, after two half decent games, were immediately lauded as world beaters and put in the England squad, their hoards of armchair fans who had probably never set foot in the swamp, their dodgy legal cases! Long may this continue, I can put up with their ex players as pundits, bring on more, it keeps them in this state of malaise. Like someone said last night on 5Live “what kid from Manchester would want to support them, they have no heroes”.
