I have similar thoughts on Rashford, although I think he's better than Greenwood. West Ham by 2026
rashfords a strange one. Hes a supreme athlete and has very good technical skills, all the tools to be a superb footballer.

But.....he has no idea what he’s doing, what he’s meant to do or where his best position is. He has no football IQ

Plagiarism at its finest. Do they really think continually rehashing something we did years ago is going to bother us? Still, like their transfer policy, they don’t have an original thought in the club.
Its fucking ace. Everytime they bring it out it just reminds us how far under their skin it got. I love it.

Zebra Pants and sheepskins are well and truly back in the cupboard
I think I recall saying at the time we need a separate ‘United fashion faux pas’thread for the zebra pants and sheepskins. And Wio’s bra and daisy dukes which scarred my eyeballs , I think, yesterday.

Who knows what they’ll bring to their next scaffold invasion - backless leather jodhpurs matched with gold lame tanktops over paisley patterned metalled wing tipped 60’s style collar shirt

Welcome to Unitedland! With an array of nostalgic installations and familiar faces, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Gawp at the scorer of the winning goal from the 1999 Champions League in his very own technical area! Gaze on the goalscorer from the 2008 Champions League final grazing just outside the penalty area! Even the roof has that retro feel! Season tickets start at just £532.

From the article.

There may even be celebration that United have pinched Ronaldo from City, just as there was when they swooped to prevent Alexis Sánchez moving to the Etihad – and look how that worked out. Ronaldo is so unsuited to City, who seemingly were only ever interested in a free transfer for all their apparent need for a central goalscorer, as to raise the mischievous thought that this has worked out rather well for them, saddling a rival with an ageing player who will drain resources and disrupt tactical development. Call it the Sánchez Protocol.

There is one, needs updating

There are constant contradictions from that bunch of cretins and the irony seems to be forever lost on them.

They hold up banners saying things like “YOUR PLAYERS MAKE MONEY, OUR PLAYERS MAKE HISTORY”, when our wage bill has always been lower than theirs and we’ve won more trophies than them in the last decade. United pay their goalkeeper as much as we pay our top earner (de Bruyne), yet de Gea still feels the need to steal doughnuts from the supermarket.

They’ve spent years whinging that City and our owner’s investment is ruining football (despite City being completely self-sufficient now). Yet they were saved from going out of business twice through owner investment, without owner investment there would be no Manchester United; they built the most expensive football team ever assembled at the time in the late80s/early90s after going a ¼ of a century without winning the league through owner investment; they have spent more on their squad in both wages and transfer fees than anyone else in English football in the last decade; and they have spent years scriking their eyes out that their owner doesn’t invest in their football club and their stadium and training grounds aren’t as good as City’s up to scratch.

So do they want owners to spend money on football clubs or not? Because their message is very unclear!

They claim to love their football club yet broke into their own stadium and caused thousands of pounds of criminal damage: breaking doors down, smashing windows, breaking lifts, breaking equipment, stealing equipment… from their own club!

They only ever protest about their owner when they aren’t winning anything. They protested about him taking over in 2005, then protested after not winning anything in 2010, and protested after four years of not winning anything this Summer… but the protests were absent when they won three Prems in a row and a CL in the late 00s, there were no protests around their Prem winning years of 2011 and 2013, and their protests have stopped now they’ve spent a load of money and pushed their wage bill up even higher at the start of this season.

How fucking insecure can you get?! All the glory hunters they’ve accumulated over the years who only support the cunts because they were winning stuff, can’t handle it when they aren’t winning things. Imagine if they ever match or beat Manchester’s longest ever trophy drought of 37 years without a trophy (which is theirs, by the way!) - they’d burn Old Trafford down so there was no club left, and all shuffle off to SC United Manchester or Salford City or whatever copycat club they make up next, just to pretend the drought wasn’t happening.

And now they should always remember, deep down, that their Golden Boy wanted City and they had to pull out all the stops from ex-managers, players, and astronomical wages to get him to change his mind… but he wanted City!
Aye, the banter is fine, it was always going to be the case. No escaping the central point: Ronaldo served a very specific purpose for us on a free, and they're entitled to give us a bit of stick. But shattering your own wage structure in order to stop a rival signing someone while you can have fun on twitter, which everyone attached to this has said is essentially the reason it has happened, is such atrocious management of a club I truly can't believe him and 95% of the fanbase has fallen for it. I used to think having ex pros in the media was a good thing, but it turns out they'll fall for everything and help your club make repeated terrible decisions.
