For clarification, if Simpering Sally had a mouthfull of rashfords cum and it was dribbling down her chin, neither me or @KS55 would pay to see it. I would certainly pay not to see it and I believe KS55 would as well. The same goes for Dan Walker.

You may be right. I must try and recall where I read it.
It was something on the lines that there was a historical points ranking and that 2 teams , one from each of the 2 top ranking leagues, would qualify.
The premier league was one of these leagues and Arsenal were the highest ranking team of those that didn't qualify.
It didn't matter whether they finished behind the likes of Leicester and West Ham.
Smacks of jobs for the boys. Uniteds ranking must still be high due to their Premier league titles and they are generally in the Champions league.
