I was reading somewhere that his work rate off the ball stats are some of the worst across Europe. We can’t afford to have passengers in City’s team which is why Pep wasn’t serious about him.

Add to the fact its been reported he will be the highest earner in PL history, a reported 560k a week on top of a 23 million deal (Press will report it as 15 mill as its 15 + 8 in add ons) and like the Dippers contract renewals there will be a total lack of coverage on the wages

The most telling thing in all of this is the way the players of other clubs respond after a defeat.

Look at most teams we beat, the opposition players have a demeanour of "fair enough we got outplayed"

Check out the players demeanour who lose to the rags it's closer to "what the fuck just happened? we were all over you"
