I wasn‘t meaning to go so deep, apologies.Clichés that mean very little and may run counter to each other anyway.
What if youth products cannot play the style of football, should he still embrace youth?
Both LVG and Mourinho probably had a go at doing a majority of those. How did that work out?
- Set the Culture
- Improve recruitment
- Structural reset
- Clear playing style
- Embrace youth
- Develop players
The ex-rags that work for BT benefit from the rags being shit, far more than they would if they were to be competitive again. They get paid to talk even more bollocks about the nth attempt at rebuilding.
It was merely the “stick to commenting on whatever your job is“ element that I was responding to.
Not many parents would be able to comment on bringing up children if they worked at Sports Direct and all they could comment on was how much Slazenger tops were and whether a purchase of one could qualify the buyer to a huge mug.
I‘m not a football manager, chairman or board member, so I’m not really qualified to comment on your post… but I would suggest every fan of any club that isn’t winning would forgo all of the stuff you posted to win trophies.
No fan of a club winning perpetual trophies talks about the DNA of the club. That’s left to the mid table clubs with “history”.
West Ham had a DNA until Moyes rocked up and played Moyesball that got them to the brink of the top 4 and Europa semifinals. None of their fans are now pining for the “West Ham“ way.
