BBC Gossip this morning says Burnley are looking at Rooney to take over.....

Seriously, what the hell is going on there? They deserve everything that comes to them.
Just American owners doing their thing. Tearing the club apart from inside out.

Just had a quick peek on Red Cafe to see what they think about the current shit show

my god they’re deluded , most seem to think that 12-15 players are either leaving or are going to be sold in the summer , which will bring in £150m in transfers fees!

they reckon these will be replaced with over £200m of new signings , the majority of which sound like the kind of players that West Ham would be after

oh and the famous Man U acedemy will fill in any gaps they have in their squad, players like Garnacho and Mejbri with a total of 7 minutes premier league football between them !

I don’t think we‘re going to have to worry about these for quite some time …

Rangnick has reached an agreement to become new Austrian national team manager which should be announced later today

Was talking to a real life one the other day, he's convinced that now Ten Hag is appointed they will rejuvenate the squad over the summer, qualify for champions league in fourth next season, and be challenging for honours the season after, deluded isn't the word

Don't forget... They have that lad Diallo (who can’t get any minutes at Rangers on loan) to come back. 40m they spent on him.

Yep , they’ve got a couple more seasons of pain at least

As we saw with Pep, it takes time to build a squad and get they to understand a new style of play and we were starting with a squad with Some world class players already present , along with the greatest manager of this generation

they are starting with zero world class players with no CL revenue to change much next season , with a manager that’s not proved anything outside of a farmers league

Pep had a squad in his image built by Mancini and Pellegrini, 'nited are nowhere near where we were when Pep took over. If they are relevant within 5 years i'll be amazed, and thats assuming it goes well with the new man, if it doesn't then that 5 years becomes a rolling cycle starting whenever they find someone who can actually manage

This is the result of actually believing the Daily BBC Gossip Column.
