I thought their turning point was supposed to be the purchase of a £80 million worth player for just £40 mill.

Bang on. This is about trophies. I genuinely think it's worse now that Liverpool are as good as they are. I think they can live with us as we're not close when it comes to their little game of trophy counting. However, the Dippers are really eating away at them.

I know a few Rags in work and not one of them is too bothered about us winning the title - I think it would piss them off if we won the CL

That said, us and the Dippers vying for trophies is what nightmares are made of for them.

Like they say this is their worst nightmare, not being able to root for the opposition

I have always believed Ferguson never connected with the City of Manchester like Pep who lives in the city-centre. If he understood our humour he would have laughed off the Tevez poster like my Rag pals. He was embedded in the Cheshire horse racing set.

My next door but one neighbour took his Rag's flag down a few weeks ago and replaced it with a Union flag. First time in 5 years he's done that before the end of the season.
