Reminds me of the Mark Hughes days when we had the Sheikh's full backing to disrupt the status quo and make some seismic signings with the new funds available. Instead he raided his old club Blackburn, hello Bellamy and Santa Cruz!

Some good signings in those days including Bellamy. Tevez, Lescott, Kolo Toure, Gareth Barry and just before them DeJong, Zabaleta, Kompany. The backbone of the team that won the league.

Boooooooo. I always look at the last day to see where the cup is presented, home or away and then the 2 derby's.

Even when we were shit I looked at the last day in some kind of sadistic/masochist way.
 
Just took my daughter to the Harry’s Tiles gig at OT cricket ground. Probably 10, 12 years since I’ve been in bandit country. Oh my god what a shit hole it is round there. Reminded me of Blackpool. A proper dump and that shit football ground looks like it’s falling to pieces.

Came back round our stadium. The thing of beauty that it is.
