So the civil case against Ronaldo looks like it'll be dropped after a judge determined that for judicial process evidence from football leaks should not have been used! Pity we didn't get a similar judgement when looking at our supposed FFP breaches!

the ephemeral and elusive attacking football of the past, which was just glorified bus parking.

I'm so glad someone else can see this and it's not just me... even at their most successful under the GPC their tactics were almost always defend deep and in numbers then hit on the break, they just happened to have an ongoing succesion of wingers and forwards who were fast enough and clinical enough to make this style of play very successful for a long period of time (along with lots of help and favouritism from intimidated and starstruck officials)
