Yep. I hate playing relegation fodder just after they've been battered as the result is always 90 minutes of trying to breach a 9 man defence. And, such as it is, the quick counter-attack is united's only attribute.

It's pretty obvious they have a very good squad, no need to deny it. If Pep/Klopp managed them, they'd be a top team. Common sense that.

In my experience football fans are very poor at differentiating bad players and players in bad form or players in bad systems.

Yes that's the problem it will make our game against them harder. It was insanity their tactics yesterday, insanity. If I was a rag I'd be fuming the halfwit set them up that way.

As you say, Ole will revert back to the tried and tested tactics that have beaten City recently. Sit deep, pack out the 18 yard area, and break when there’s an opportunity.

But Pogba and Ronaldo in the same dressing room is just pure poison. They are not team players. Ronaldo is totally over the hill. Pogba came on for 17 minutes and literally strolled around with his hand on his hips. He could not survive at any other club but United where these sort of players are indulged. There was a real lack of effort in that team yesterday from certain players. Bruno Fernandez showed his true colours as well. Happy days.

Not seen or heard any pundit mention Maguire yet.

The man is fucking rubbish. Put him on the penalty spot heading long balls away and he's fine. Also gets the odd goal.
But ask him to play football, defend on the deck, make quick decisions or just get his positioning right and his flaws are there for all too see.
Re-watch yesterdays goals (a chore i know..) and check out his involvement. Running toward his own goal and a good 2 yards off the scorer. Schoolboy stuff.
