city were asking 40-50 for bernardo and they are no bids but leeds are willing to pay 30 mil for daniel james

Because even the mediocre PL clubs are stacked with cash and willing to throw it around. The market for Bernardo was not in the PL but around Europe. He can make sideways moves to European clubs but the only way to stay in the PL is down and he's too good for that.

Just for some context we wouldn't pay that for De Paul a year ago

How the fuck did they get £30M for james?

And selling a player just so fake ronaldo can wear 7

Fucking jokers

Surely there must be allegations of financial doping in the pipeline?

I mean, are Leeds inadvertently looking to fund 'Manchesh Yoonated' by completely overpaying for an average player?

Answers on a postcard folks............
If you're suggesting Leeds are involved behind the scenes in trying to help the Rags out then I think we'd be ready to chase Radrizzani out of the club

Bielsa's wanted him for 3 years he must see something in him. I'm not happy at all about the fee but I trust him in that regard

Well like most managers they have a blind spot which sometimes hinders their judgment, Pep and the CL being our prime example but what I have seen from James in his championship prime year it didn’t leave me thinking wow he’s a player and I thought the scum were profligate in the fee but I thought your top brass were supposed to be very smart, 30 million is frankly just about 15 million overpriced and the rags get the benefit of allowing the seven shirt amazingly become available.

Not a good deal IMO

Thought Cavani had #7 shirt?

Now, if Cavani wanted to slip across the Trafford - Manchester boundary to vacate the #7 shirt, I’d do that bit of business all day! Give him a few quid for a year and then break the bank (if need be) for Haaland in January for a 22/23 season transfer.

A shirt number change can only happen in the season if a player goes, so selling james means they can more some squad numbers about

I don’t think so. A player can wear an unused shirt number, but Cavani already registered in #7, I thought.

From the Wolves game on Sunday.

In Bielsa we trust but I'm feeling a little embarrassed right now

He plays different for Wales than he has at united. For wales he’s crucial to our counter attack. He just needs to work on his end product. I’m happy your getting him hopefully he can develop more under Bielsa and then bring that to the national team

Typical Leeds.Sign z bang average forward.
30 million on another forward instead of their defence.
Aye the man is a genius.lol

Cavani plays 21 for the national team so can now take it as empty and give up 7.

James has been sold so this can happen
I’m not saying you’re wrong, or that the theory isn’t correct, only that Cavani has already taken 7 this season and, as such, isn’t allowed to change numbers.

Of course, I’m sure the PL has a “special Man Utd dispensation” clause for such matters, so you may well be exactly right!

Makes one sick to think we gave them Harrison for a poxy loan fee and £12M, yet James goes there with a £30M price tag! Leeds have been mugged!
