Simon stone i assume.
I‘m astounded Stone never got the DonaldTrump Press Secretary gig - he’s dedicated to fake news and talking utter bollocks.

I just can't see anything in it for a decent manager. They should give Frank Clarke a go as obviously they've missed out on Alan Ball.
Mark HughesCan't decide whether Steve Bruce, Wayne Rooney, Roy Keane, Phil Neville or Paul Scholes would be funnier. The only thing funnier would be Alex Ferguson himself (or possibly Ryan Giggs).
Correct. Villarreal. Won 3 league games this season. One against the team currently in 17th and another against a team currently 18th. It's the equivalent of beating Burnley!Beating second rate/Europa league standard sides is as good as it’ll get for them this season
When they play the top teams it turns into a training session it’s that easy
I expect something similar on Sunday
In previous seasons under Ole they took the odd big scalp but can’t see it happening this year
It's all the pie and mash they eat. The fat bastards.and every a fan is a big red
They’ve been floundering (relatively speaking) for nearly a decade now and the PL has just signed another record breaking TV deal. United’s brand’s value to the league clearly isn’t as important as you think it is.That's my point though. The PL can ill afford to have the Rag's floundering as it hits them in the pocket.
Lots of reports the interim manager will be Ernesto Valverde.
I'm just going off what Scudamore said in 2015. I know that was 7 years ago now, but the PL/FA are still dancing to his tune on that one. They’ve been floundering (relatively speaking) for nearly a decade now and the PL has just signed another record breaking TV deal. It's almost like FFP doesn't affect them. They have been living with debts for the past +10 years but it didn't affect their spending at all.
They still able to break transfer records and wage bills.
Unfortunately, they still get whoever they want ( maybe Zidane is the exception )
I can never understand how they can even file annual financial reports with the Cayman Islands being 'off grid' yet ours get examined with a fine tooth comb. It's almost like FFP doesn't affect them.
I hate to rush to the defence of Scudamore but plenty of people seem to focus on the bits they want in that quote and conspicuously ignore the bits that don’t suit. My reading of it was that united are good for the PL commercially (which they indisputably were, and to a lesser extent, are) but they are running a competition and that the former shouldn’t therefore supersede the latter. Are you suggesting that in stating that united were commercially good for the PL Scudamore was saying something that was untrue? It seems he was stating something that was correct to me, and something, given his role, he was entitled to have a view on.I'm just going off what Scudamore said in 2015.
