Don’t forget you need to have extremely short legs to sit with any form of comfort. Their terracing is far too narrow for seated fans, I know as I experienced it at the Olympics. The lower tier concourse in the Stretford End is akin to the Black Hole of Calcutta. The stadium is a dump.
I went there for the Olympics too and was shocked at what a dump the whole place was.
I always assumed that the away section was grim on purpose but the Stretford End was just as bad, I'm only 5'9" and could barely fit my legs in the seat. We were all pretty much sat on top of each other as the seats can barely accommodate a toddler. Bare peeling concrete and dust everywhere too, was like a communist era gulag. Embarrassingly the opening game of the women's Euros is being held there this year so that's another chance for them to give Manchester a bad name across Europe.
Probably explains why that fat bustard Howson watches the games on YouTube instead of at the stadium though, his bulk is never fitting into one of those 'seats'.

Neither did someone else who once uttered those words.
I don’t think they’ve hit rock bottom yet, far from it in fact lol

Absolutely, getting to the knock out stages of the champions league is progress for them, they are normally off to play a tense away side against some Eastern Europeans in the Thursday night cup by now.

What gets me is they'd really convinced themselves that barely dragging themselves out of the easiest group in the competition, because Ronaldo had scored a couple of last minute winners, meant they had a chance. Or that "winning the transfer window" gave them a chance of beating these Liverpool and City sides, arguably the two best teams the league has seen with the two best managers in world football, because they'd signed Sancho and Ronaldo. Even more delusional than the scouers in the 90s.

The Olympics was the first time I went to the swamp. Was shocked at what a dump it was back then and as the years have passed it’s got even worse

Neither do I. They are completely rudderless at the moment, and even when people tell them they ignore it. Rangnick is actually the right man for them because there is nobody on the planet, not even Pep or Bingo, that could get a tune out of that ensemble. But that job he has on is a complete reset now, they just can't see it. They either continue to generate as much cash as they can to feed this ever-demanding need to find that elusive world star or starlet or do what they should do and strip the club to its bare bones and rebuild properly.

This has to be a spoof account surely? She's on a wind up. If not it should be saved and shown to sum up rag fans everywhere. Spoilt kids raised by a doting parent ( Ferguson) who could buy them every bright new toy ( Players) out there. This meant they could boast in school, went to all the best parties, ate at the top restaurants and holidayed in Marbella, Miami and Dubai. Then daddy ( Ferguson) fell out with his business partners ( Magnier and McManus ) and their little world came crashing down. Now they shop at charity shops, eat out once a month at McDonald's as a treat and holidays are a leaking caravan in rain and windswept Wales. As a result the tantrums are epic. Welcome to the real world raggies!
When you saw Scholes last night, he perfectly summed up why they are where they are and why they will stay where they are. "We are Manchester United and we should be able to get any manager on the planet". The arrogance and sense of entitlement is astonishing and that, coupled with a complete lack of realism about how far off the pace they are, will ensure they stay in the doldrums for a good few years yet. Even Camelgob looked astonished.................
