Has Neil Ashton (and his United PR team) been working overtime again? The poor lad must be exhausted? And to think, he had a cushy number presenting Sunday (United) Supplement. That's a report that Goebbels would've been proud of. They're not making a profit next year. That figure they're claiming as "profit" is Earnings or EBITDA. It doesn't take into account Amortisation (the 'A' in EBITDA), Depreciation or Taxation.
Amortisation alone will be around £150m or thereabouts. So that's got to be knocked off that 'profit'. EBITDA in 2021 was £96m and they still made a £33m net loss. They're still going to be reporting a loss next year as well.
