Our signings have been the result of two or three inch dossiers which have focused as much on the personality of the player as much as his footballing talent. I think we have not got one 'twat' on board.

Don't think anyone can argue that Dortmund the move wasn't a result for him. He got loads of playing time and a massive deal as a result. Just a shame for him the club offering big money was the rags. Every player is taking that money. But its another example of a players career going off the rails by going there. This won't be unnoticed by players.

He's on too much money to leave just yet. Will have to stick it out.

Maybe the rags will arrange a loan move for him at Michael Carrick’s Bore-O.

As an interested and objective football fan I don't see it as wasted money, more of the same please. Who are we to tell the great unwashed it's a waste of money.

I don’t think we’ve been lucky with our signings.

We have a manager and DoF, as well as people above them, such as Ferran, who know the game inside out and a scouting network that can identify the type of players that will fit the system we play.

Admittedly, not every acquisition has been a great success, especially some of the young (potential) talents, but very few of those that have gone straight into the first-team squad have been flops, certainly in the time that Pep has been here.

In the real world, I would agree...waste your talent and you end up on the dole or in a cardboard box, and that is a crying shame.

An overpaid, overhyped, millionaire entitled footballer, on £350k per week? Nah, couldn't give a flying fuck. Go waste your talent....in Dubai, Marbella, the leafy burbs of Cheshire....it must be so difficult to cope.
