It could be to make a stadium naming deal more straightforward, assuming someone wanted to do an Etihad and have both.

Not many players that big, though: Amazon, Apple, Lou Macari’s Chippy spring to mind...

I've heard a whisper that Saniflo want the stadium naming rights. The Saniflo Macerator Stadium and apparently they don't need or want a name on the shirts as everyone who watches them knows their shit.
