There's been a weird narrative across a lot of media today, about a return to the old days of the Arsenal-united rivalry at the top of English football

How have united managed to be elevated by Arsenal's league position? They're sitting 4th, have just had an easy run of fixtures (and a dreadful refereeing performance) and they got battered today

CIty need to win both games against them and hope they drop 2 points somewhere along the line.
All we can do is push them, but the title is in their hands at the moment.
But that means we also have to keep winning ourselves 'til the end of the season...that's not really looking likely..so Arsenal have to lose to us TWCE!!! AND drop 2 more points + the extra points we are likely to drop between now and end of season. Can't really see us beating them twice tbf let alone not dropping more than them v rest of teams

Reality check.
They’ve only just played half a season
Their bench is pretty light and they’re bound to pick up some injuries along the way.
Long way to go before they’re champions!

Arteta's manic energy is working well at the moment. The team are playing a faster, riskier and more frantic style of football than anyone else. It has worked - so far.
But, all teams will be more wary when they play Arsenal for the second time, later in the season. Deeper defensive tactics will be used by far more teams.
However, the biggest factor will be how both Arteta and his young team handle the pressure of expectation. Arsenal are now the team to beat as League leaders.
Hopefully, Arteta follows his North London rivals and "bottles it"...
