I think he's a player that's benefitted from being a big teams and the moment those teams aren't as strong (Juve in the past 2 years), he's one of the players that's been exposed.

For United to go from De Jong to Rabiot is a disaster. Both on the pitch and for their newly revamped 'transfer team'.

TBF if its took one competitive game for Tent peg to see that McFred is not the answer in midfield then that's a lot quicker than his predecessors (and a lot slower than anyone with half a brain) - i'm sure he's thinking he'd rather have a trouble maker who can kick than 2 people who cannot.

Now they just need a right back, centre back, 2 attacking mids, a left winger, centre forward and 4 rotation players and they'll be back chasing 4th.
