Imagine having booked a trip to Old Trafford weeks ago from Ireland or Scandinavia or Australia, you are due to pay an absolute fortune between flights, accommodation and everything else, you've told the poor kids (and they've likely gone through the trauma of being ashamed to tell their friends) and then you read that there will be no one there. What a time to be a nited fan.

What a time to be a blue.

What a time to take the piss relentlessly.

I keep seeing these "Walk Out" posts. Are these lot that entitled as to believe this "don" that's chilling in the US, milking them like the Swiss Milka Cow, is going to care?

Their problems are much deeper than "ownership". They've turned their own club into consumer-ship 101. Maybe they should start with that first. Their deluded fan base, refuse to accept their level is where it is. And demand the world, and high end players, but the only ones that are going to touch that shambolic mess, are actual mercenaries.

When the going gets tough, they'll chill because they don't have to perform, knowing that their lucrative contracts are probably higher and more important than the Managers. ( IE see Rashford - who I can bet, because of his "outside" status is a more marketable solution than Erik Ten Plunge ). When you start with that in a season / any season, and actually take the power away from the sporting sector, from the manager, you're left with an absolute mess. 10 years of spiralling, and they refuse to acknowledge it's themselves, as a fan base, the media, the shite of 92, that are more to blame than the "don" from the US.

BBC Gossip Column.

Dutch title winning Manager Erik Ten Hag could turn to Striker Alessia Russo to solve their Striker Crisis.(Daily Fail)

Alternatively he has received a “Come and Get me “ plea from former Hull City star Dean Windass (BM Forum).

Ten Hag is looking at the possibility of signing Van Der Valk after his impressive reappearance on ITV on Sunday (Radio Times).

Paul Scholes has been asked out of retirement as Schteve McLaren likes his surname (Amsterdam Times).

Anyone know what they are protesting about yet other than being shite...........?
They themselves don’t understand what they’re protesting about.

They are completely confused and outright wrong about what they think it’s all about. They’re conflating the Glazers earning money from the club with their position in the league and trophy drought. They are completely separate issues and have no bearing on each other. But because they haven’t got the fortitude to handle their position in the league and trophy drought (because most United fans only chose to support United because they were #1 and always winning trophies), they direct their anger at the Glazers.

Yes, the Glazers are taking money out of United. However, that is not affecting United’s ability to spend money on their team:
- Since Ferguson left United, they’ve spent £1.21bn on transfers. That’s only £235m less than City in the same time and by a mile we’re the biggest two spenders in the country. However, City have won 4 league titles in the last 5 years and 14 trophies in that time, while United have not won the league once and only won 4 trophies (Leicester have won 3, one of which was the league title!).
- United have the biggest wage bill in the country, again by a mile! Their wage bill is £230m. In compassion, City’s wage bill is £145m.

Their problem is who they have in charge of who they are buying and paying such high wages to. They’ve just had the wrong Director of Football and wrong managers in place which has seen them buy the wrong players with no forward thinking plan. But this isn’t necessarily the Glazers’ fault; Sheikh Mansour pretty much has no dealings with the day-to-day or even month-to-month running of City, neither do the China Media Capital/CITIC Group or Silver Lake, they are just the owners of the shares of the club… and that’s all the Glazers are at United. The running of City and United and all clubs falls with the CEO and other board members, of which, at United, Ferguson is one. Ferguson has also been a consultant to the club in all aspects of its running from the football side of it.

The Glazers have literally employed the exact man that United fans would want to oversee all of this. But what they’re not seeing is that he’s doing an awful job!

The result of all this is that they are not one of the best runs clubs in the country anymore and there are better boardrooms operating in the Premier League these days; that’s only natural, things are fluid and always moving, nothing lasts forever. But United fans don’t understand or won’t accept this, so their natural reaction is to throw their toys out of the pram and constantly complain.

The main things United fans should have been demanding is that Woodward should have been replaced long ago but also that Ferguson should not have any role at the club whatsoever. He’s a has-been and football, on and off the pitch, has moved on massively since his era!

They should also be careful what they wish for. They could get new owners in who are not prepared to release the amount of funds towards the football team that the Glazers are. They could be a frugal set of bastards and United could stand exactly where they are in the league and continue to not win trophies. Or they could want to modernise Old Trafford and Carrington and say there are no funds for transfers.

All true but it's still the owner that that has to take the initiative to change any of that (if that's in their interest of course). Contrast what happens there to what took place at ours with our new owners; first they put a super competent guy like Khaldoon in charge to oversee the project. He identifies the situation, gets in touch with the best people in the business i.e Soriano who oversaw the major turnaround for Barca and made them a juggernaut, formulates a business plan (CFG) and so on. It really starts at the top with owners willing and patient to do what it takes to make it a success story like ours.

OLD TRAFFORD DONKEY SANCTUARY (Est. 2013.)

From as little as £750 a year, you too can sponsor a helpless donkey. Like HARRY bought from Leicester for £80m, where his cruel Thai owners were forcing him to perform as a 'footballer' for as much as 90 minutes in the blazing sun, in front of a baying crowd. Or CRISTIANO, brought here at enormous expense because no one else wanted him. No one knows exactly how old Cristiano is, but he's certainly a veteran as he can scarcely move and is useless for any work. His food, vet bills and treats cost us over 500k a week. Or perhaps little LUKE or 'Fatty' as he is known to his fans. Luke has had such traumas that he's a compulsive eater, and often eats as many as 10 large sacks of carrots a day.

Of course, you don't need to choose Harry, Cristiano or Luke. We have more than a dozen other donkeys some of them tragic cases. For example PHIL. Little Phil would have been put down anywhere else, as his vet bills are huge and he is rarely able to do any work. However, here at Old Trafford he is safe and can enjoy retirement with his friends.

We are open on alternate weekends and many Thursday nights. Why don't you come down and enjoy the sight of our donkeys running aimlessly about our large field in Trafford, near Manchester? We have several cafes and a big shop where you can buy an expansive range of donkey memorabilia. Remember, every penny goes towards the upkeep of our donkeys and enables us to bring in more hapless donkeys from around the world to our safe retirement home.

(Old Trafford Donkey Sanctuary, Registered Charity 16161616.)

Patron: Mr J. Glazer. Temporary Donkey Superintendent Mr E. ten Hag. Donkey Superintendent Emeritus, Sir Alex Ferguson.

Corporate Sponsors: FA Premier League, PGMOL, BBC, Daily Mail, Guardian, Mr Kok's Crispy Noodle Stall (Bangkok).
