He's hardly going to make money from a 'watchalong' if he goes to a game, now is he?
Presumably, he is watching their live matches, which he is commenting on and broadcasting. Nowt illegal with doing that, (even if his performances are criminally poor.) But if he is watching Saturday 15:00 kick offs, he has to be accessing an illegal stream? Naughty ex-polis, so he is.

No doubt he has done that in the past. Although I wonder now if he's recognised as part of the media (works for TalkSport at least) and is able to access it legally. I don't even know how it works, but presumably there's a long list of people who are allowed to watch it.

It's his trademark skill. Trademark because no-one else would be stupid enough to do it in a game.
He did it once for the rags and made himself dizzy as he kicked the ball straight into touch after performing his circus trick iirc. What a clown!

While my sympathy levels for them are rarely measurable, in this case they’re in a no win scenario.

Keep him around and he turns get charged and it’s yet another PR nightmare. Tell him to stay away and he’s ultimately never charged and obviously you lose the player for an indeterminate period of time.

City haven’t made many mistakes in the past decade, but not doing the same with Mendy when he was on bail under investigation ranks as one.
Mendy, the guy who was found not guilty?
