I don't believe DeZerbi would go anywhere near that poisoned cesspit - because he knows it will take a lot more than just a decent manager to sort everything out there.
This is a club whose supporters have consistently blamed the Glazers for the poor state they are in, but we all know obscene amounts of money have been spent in a vain (and embarrassing) attempt at trying to keep up with us, so using the owners as scapegoats is convenient for them, but it is totally incorrect.
Obviously none of us know what is happening in the boardroom and who is making the major decisions, but whoever it is it isn't working. As a result the whole polythene edifice is rotting from top to bottom, and it is not going to get better despite pigmol's continued assistance.
There is obviously some kind of divisive atmosphere in the work place, but who or what it is we can only guess. Because it cannot be mere coincidence that pretty much every player they have signed in the last decade or so has gone in the front door, loaded with potential, looking like a very good prospect for them, only to leave via the back door under a cloud of unsavoury allegations and/or severely damaged reputations.
DeZerbi appears to be a very good coach. Brighton play some lovely, intricate, attacking football, and they are not afraid of putting in some heavy stuff if and when required - quite a formidable combination.
Then look at what is happening at the swamp. Where is the attraction?
