If this situation ever happens it could be one of the worst moves our club could ever do. No matter what money they are offered the answer has to be a NO NO NO
You can guarantee their fans would show NO respect to our stadium.
Probably have to spend thousands on cleaning graffiti and repairing damaged toilets after every time they play there.
Not to mention the few pubs we have near the ground with City memorabilia on the walls etc, what do they do, take it all down every other week or leave it on the walls to be vandalised.
If anyone from the City management are reading this, please don't EVER consider this.
Exactly we’d be paying thousands every other week repairing everything these dick heads would smash up. The brass neck of the fuckers if they even ask! While they’re trying to destroy us and send us to oblivion!

ATTENTION SHOPPERS

St. Beneathus Day is approaching quickly, please let's not have a run at the shops like we did with bog roll during the covid year. Buy your jelly and ice cream early. Thanks for your cooperation and most of all, enjoy the celebration safely.

Whilst this is accurate in terms of exact spending, it doesn’t take into account inflation. Sky Sports did this same table in August 2023, and adjusted for inflation, Sir Alex Ferguson was the highest spending manager in Premier League history (£3.5 billion)

Not just that, times change. When he spent £3.5m (i think) on gary pallister, that was a world record for a defender, it was mind boggling money back then.

And for comparison, juan veron cost twice as much as julian alavarez, but was 25 years ago

To be fair, the poster has had a massive amount of abuse, even Rags on there saying he'd need to adjust fees for Rooney and Ferdinand. However, he's got what he wanted - lots of clicks and responses.

1989 when they tried to buy a league sure the likes of Neil Webb,Mike Phelan, ince and Danny walace arrived at the same time all on big money.

Looked it up they spent 8 million that summer which was huge money back then

The side that lost the Maine Road Massacre cost over £13 million.

That was a staggering amount for transfer fees back then, and it was without captain cripple.
