There was a report in one of the papers in the last couple of days saying they can't. Going to be too close to FFP and if they miss out on champions league they'll have to sell just to avoid failing it.

Probaly the Glazers and other people selling at $22. Other people buying the shares as a short or long-term investment hoping the share price will go up again. Jim will probably be buying them bit by bit to increase his share holding in United.

He has said himself that they won't be spending big this summer hasn't he? A combination of FFP, no money from the Glazers and not being able to put his own money in, I imagine.

Probably not a bad investment at that price. Let's be honest, football is rigged so that they're unlikely to ever go much lower than they are now. I couldn't bring myself to buy shares in them though.

We have our stadium, soon to be 62,000, the dippers 61,000 and a new stadium for Everton. As scruffy Jim and the Glazers are billionaires I'm sure they can fund a new one if they want it.

Owners/chairman/heads of footballing operations should at best be seen & not heard I'm struggling to think of any in the modern era or even in the past that have been successful in their position while being in the press 24/7.

Of course, this could just be a short period of media push by him to get the raggy masses fully with him but I think he's going to be fucking everywhere until he fails.

The worst thing he has done and continues to do is stand alongside the GPC, they genuinely do not realise that he is exactly what is holding them back and that old fart is going to do exactly the same, they are analogue in a digital world and neither of them realise that football has moved on and the gpc/rag way doesnt mean shit anymore, the history of the rags which is looked through with rose tinted glasses does not mean anything, he will put them back in contention after a few years but times have changed and it will never ever be like it was, there is too many serious operators now for them to have any level of dominance.
