Yeah maybe, but my gut feeling is this whole process from the Glazers has been a sham to try and keep the fans from protesting more and more and its worked. United are their cash cow, why would they give that up without someone like Ineos paying through the absolute roof for it. Add to that anyone taking full control will need to invest extra billions just to bring the stadium and training grounds up to standard and that's not even going anywhere near their shit show of a team.Don’t you think there’s a good chance this is just the first stage for Ineos? My suspicion is they’ve only done this with a view to a majority holding.
The only question is, is it with the tacit agreement of the Glazers (my guess would be yes), or not.
