I know many on here want City to ban reporters but it does more harm than good these days.

Fergie was able to do it as be ruled with iron fist and there was no social media to get the reporters side out.

What's weird is these reporters are some of utds biggest cheerleaders in the media.

They'll be more determined to stick the boot into utd and ten hag now.

So a few of the United owned media jump out of line and bam they are banned. Meanwhile the media continually take piss out of City with false speculation and lies but we continue to ply them with vol aux vonts and asti spumanti.

Apparently that's not true, City are quick on the phone to anyone they think goes too far or are on shaky legal terms.

They don't ban anyone as the reporter can get the story out through social media anyway, other reporters don't like it and will stick the boot in and be even more negative and it invites even more criticism. Seriously, it makes utd seem small time.

Plus, there is the sensitivity around a UAE owned club banning journalists - it will invite more criticism of the owners.
