The thing is if they had Pep moving in next week they'd still be nowhere near a title in the next 3/4 years unless they can flog all the squad to Saudi for £1b and buy again.

They've got Ten the clown and he's the level in all respects that the club are at now .

What utd dont realise is that who THEY' RE favourite for the job is doesnt necessarily make them THE favourite, their ego still wont let them understand that they arent who they once were, tent peg wasnt the favourite when he went there but they couldnt let that be known so just like with every player they make it seem like they crawled over broken glass to play for them instead of the truth which is that they wanted a massive payday or had no other offers and until they let go of that gigantic ego and belief that the 90s and early 2000s mean anything in the present then nothing will ever change.

Fortunately for us and football, the sympathetic press enablers, the constant stream of ex rags, the want for the fans to blame ANYONE and ANYTHING but the real reason will make sure this continues and they will continually wait for the next manager or next amazing player who wore rag pjs as a kid to put the rags back where they believe they belong but the reality is that their pathetic need to cling to the past has made them a grammophone in a digital world.

We're very very close to their "BrianWho?" Managerial appointment, ZZ won't touch them in this state.

I'd be shocked if Zidane manages them

Judging by his managerial career it doesn't seem like he's that desperate to be a full-time manager and isn't exactly going from club to club. He also won a lot in a very short space of time during the time he did manage, so he has never tarnished himself.

Considering he doesn't seem to be that desperate to be a full-time manager year in and year out, then I cannot see why he would choose a team that is clearly inferior to other teams in England and it's a real uphill battle. Unless he wants a mega challenge, who knows.

If he just wanted money, he could probably get a job in Saudi within a day of showing interest.

Maybe I'm completely misjudging him, but I just don't see how United at this moment are appealing to him. Inheriting a poor squad and team, a pretty toxic feeling around their club, as well as going up against far superior teams managed by Pep, Klopp etc.

Unless he's bang up for an incredible task on his hands, I don't see why he takes the job.
