Many years ago, in one of her first jobs, my sister worked as a waitress at a local hotel.

Douglas Bader was a regular guest, and he always sat in her section of the restaurant.

I thought it was a Cocktail bar.

Probably fuck all. It's just the signs of a failing company. When your boss comes in and starts talking about a limit on photocopying, start writing your CV. By that point, they've already cut everything meaningful (except their own salary, of course) and they're desperate.
