The problem with sacking tent peg is their own expectations, in their minds there will be a line of people wanting to take the job and it just isnt there, its a poison chalice, a career blot, a cv stain and any decent manager wont want it and then scruffy jim will have to sell another mid level manager to them.

I don’t think they can afford to sack him in the short term, the club is haemorrhaging money with them burning through business loans. No wonder Radcliffe is looking at anyway to cut costs with staffing levels and down to the company credit cards.

The squad needs major surgery and it will cost a lot of money to do it. They are being strangled by PSR, it’s not coincidence that changing the rules on spending is on the agenda for Premier League clubs.
