I've said for a while that they are similar to where we were in the late 90s & hopefully Southgate will be there Alan Ball. They have players who have played under several managers with different styles. They have no strategy other than playing u14s kick & rush. Burnley didn't look like a relegation team. He's spent £400m to take them backwards & new manager will need to spend that again just to turn around.

Yeah; I know a couple of people who have met him on nights out in Dublin. They reckon he's a 100% sound bloke, in no way your stereotypical arrogant professional footballer (past or present). Never met him, but he'd strike you as the type who'd just like to sit in the quietest corner of the pub.

Read his book years ago, think it may have been ghost written. Had issues but still carved out a successful career. Remember we were linked with him before he moved to Villa whose fans loved him.
