I don't understand why they don't give this competition an honest effort. They have to realize that they are, at best, mid-table in the league. Could actually be their best chance to actually collect some silverware.
They would much rather get a result in the League against the rags than go on a cup run. Same for all the clubs in the lower half.

I understand how this thinking has come about but it's crap and somehow the people in charge have to try something to change it, otherwise what's the point?
 
What’s the crowd like. Sister in law, husband and two kids gone on a freebie as tickets were given out to local junior football teams.

Wonder where all these so called Utd fans are who ‘can’t get a ticket to the game’ are. I’ve known loads over the years use that excuse
Plenty of empty seats tonight, not that anybody in the media will dare to mention it.Lets be fair though what with train strikes and the cost of air fares it can't be easy.
