The rags keep trying to emulate us.
What with lookalike managers and soundalike players, Glazers out protests (we had Swales out protests), they've even got their own Gene Kelly stand!
I am looking forward to their descent into the lower leagues....

We had Kappa, they are getting crapper.

Slyman Stones - again. Have to run around more?? A bit like headless chickens then??

Got this coaching lark nailed then.

Funny as fuck, from the nation that gave us Rinus Michels & Johann Cruyff who brought total football to the world they ended up with the Dutch Warnock.

I was at a wedding night do last night and me and the wife were on a table that turned out to be full of rags (2 of them I knew as they're work mates)

Anyway, a few beers go down and the subject soon turns to football.

I dropped a bit of loaded question, purely for amusement with a touch of provocation. "Based on your start this season, will Ten Bob build on what was a fantastic season last season finishing 3rd"

Every one of them genuinely believed that last season was absolutely fantastic and were baffled at Ten Bob not being in with a shout of manager of the year. Apparently the love in with Pep is over the top as he's had the freedom and the funds to pretty much do as he wants.

Obviously I carried on as they were putty in my hands, asking more questions about their spend and particularly the signings that have come in since Ten Bob was manager.

The excuses and reasons why they didn't compete for the title and are unlikely to compete this season were hilarious. The manager hasn't really been backed, apparently he didn't want Casemiro (who they believe wants a move to Saudi), he demanded that Maguire is sold which hasn't happened and signings of De Jong, Kane and Rice were also demanded, which haven't materialised, leaving them with a squad that lacks in real quality and depth.

Apparently it's not a happy camp either.

I put to them that maybe Ten Bob is responsible for the overall happiness of the squad and maybe getting a tune out of the squad. Many of whom are his players with over 350 million being spent since he became manager. Throw in players that have shown that they're capable like Rashford, Sancho, Shaw, Wan Bissaka, Fernandez etc and it's hard for anyone who's not a utd supporter to have any kind of sympathy.

For about an hour I had these rags all trying to convince me that Ten Bob just hasn't been backed as he'd have wished and it was all the Glazers fault. All being said with sad faces and real fake concern in their voices whilst I'm pissing myself inside. This lot are completely deluded.

One of my work pals who I get on with and is a rag knew exactly what I was doing and called me a **** hahahaha.

It is a shame that Luton (who might do a reverse-invincibles) and never win a game all season, and Sheffield Utd and Everton are already pretty obviously going down, or Man United might be flirting with relegation themselves.

Don't laugh - I said the other day they could have a season as bad as Chelsea last year and they finished 12th on 44 points!
Luton will beat Everton at least.

They were scraping the barrel a bit when they appointed ten bob, so who on earth could they get to replace him? Any decent coach/manager will already be employed so that narrows it down a lot for them. They could pull out all the stops to try and get De Zerbi but Brighton would never let that happen, and besides, why would he want to take the poisoned chalice if it were offered? I don't think he's the sort of chap whose head would be turned by money alone, and they have nothing else to offer.

The rags are on a downward spiral and have been for a long time. You wouldn't know it from the media and press reports in this country - no bloody way. The red tops and Sly would have you believe that all is well there and that everybody is on board with the way the club is going. The signings they have made in the past few seasons have been absolutely brilliant: Weghorst was the new Messi, every single club in the world were prepared to pay whatever it takes to get Anthony, but of course he chose his 'childhood club.' Casemiro was another who chose the rags over the hundreds of offers he received from us, Barca, Real etc. But from the moment he was born he has dreamed of turning out for the vermin because they have always been the biggest and the best (we know this because Terry Christian keeps telling us this as well).

But if once, just the once, a hack in this country had the spine to tell the truth about what is really happening with the rags, if Sly and their sycophantic colleagues at the BBC had the guts to come out and confirm what we all know anyway, they could start again from scratch and get some professional organising going on there. Naturally I hope to fuck they don't, all the while those obnoxious bastards are up to their eyebrows in turmoil and debt the happier I will be. But if they don't stop believing in their own bullshit myth and start working at turning things around they could well disappear faster than a Russian politician with a difference of opinion at the Kremlin.

So for Ten Hag to continue this amazing start to the raggies he then has to do what Pep did in his second season and win the league with over a 100 points. I wonder if ESPN will be highlighting how great he is after another 40 games.
He doesn’t have to do what Pep did.

One of United’s problems is that they’re looking at City and Pep and trying to emulate us far too much. The only thing they have anywhere near what we do is the ability to spend money (but they don’t have the boardroom, management team or playing staff capable of doing what City do with the same money). Nothing else about United can compare to City at the moment so I think they’re right to bring in Klopp and Arteta to that discussion. They should also not compare themselves as a club now to what they were under Ferguson, they’re a different club these days and they need to move on as a fanbase and club.

But what Ten Hag might do is do better than Klopp or Arteta in their second seasons and justify keeping his job.

Liverpool in Klopp’s second season finished 4th in the Prem, didn’t play in Europe and got knocked out of both domestic Cups early doors.
Arsenal in Arteta’s second season finished 8th in the Prem, got to the Europa League semis and got knocked out of both domestic Cups in the middle rounds.

United should look at Ten Hag in those terms this season and compare to that and if he does he should keep his job and be given time. The thing with United fans is that they’re very insecure and have this obsession with comparing themselves to City of now and United of Ferguson’s era. They need to get real as a club that lot otherwise they’ll be forever stuck trying to be something they’re not.

The Bald Fraud

Last season `fans` of the hooligan riddled club were breaking into the ground, trespassing and attacking police and staff resulting in the game v Liverpool not being able to go ahead due to the planned, illegal disorder.

This season they are happy to pay to go in rather than force their way. Then they do not want to go home on a Saturday evening after enduring 90 minutes but want to stay another 60 minutes sat there in green and yellow Norwich scarves.

You could not make this up.

Meanwhile, The Bald Fraud who is meant to be managing them, tells the world that the players he has spent over £400m on in 12 months, will not listen to him !

It`s the united way - shambolic on and off the pitch.

And,it is lovely to observe in my lifetime.
