Every time I say to a rag that pigmol are helping them I'm told I'm a 'bitter bertie.' There's probably an element of the truth there, because they have been systematically cheating their way through games since long before the Pisscan stumbled in and it pisses me off that we're told he was a great manager. Like fuck he was. He had the officials in his pocket - common knowledge.
But when I admit to those same rags that I am biased and loathe that fucking club with every microcosm of my being, what about fans from other clubs? Are they all rag-haters? Are they all wrong when they see blatant corruption going on before their very eyes and call it out? If so they must all be related to me. The same DNA, the same hereditary genes, one huge family of anti-rags.
I've got a mate in Barrow-in-Furness, a genuinely nice chap who tries to see the best in everyone. Never seen him lose his temper or raise his voice: a more gentle soul you will never meet. But when he's down here on holiday we meet up for a chat, and inevitably the first thing we start to talk about is football. And it's during these discussions that he really opens up and gets animated about the way the rags are being gifted points from corrupt officials.
He has friends all over the globe and every one of them, apparently, feel the same way - that clubs are being robbed of precious points in order to help the vermin, over and over again.
It's good to know we are not alone in calling it as we see it.
