I know CFC have a small shareholder. But what is the point of being a 25% shareholder ?
What can this Ratcliffe bloke do with his 25% share ?
Not being a financial brain myself I dont understand how it works. If Ratcliffe puts money in surely he just makes the Glazer's more money ? Or is Ratcliffe going to take 25% of the money the Glazer's take out ?
You've nailed it. 25% of the shares gets 25% of the dividends. Which he'll want in order to service the debt he'll be taking on to finance this deal.

It's been mentioned before but if the Qataris buy another Prem team it won't be the Dippers, I'm pretty sure of that.
Everton, definitely. Moving to a ground suitable for 21st century football, so much scope for development, the world would be their lobster. The two north London clubs are pretty stable, as are the Hammers. I'd say Brighton are also in safe hands looking forward. Palace, maybe. Ground way too small though.
The rest, sorry to say, are also-rans.

The rags are imploding on a huge scale. A couple more wrong moves and it will be cataclysmal for them. The end.
People say they are too big to fall, but look at Woolworths, Debenhams etc - they said the same about them.
Twenty years ago nobody would have thought the vermin would be in this position, ever. But they are, and it is happening while we are the undisputed kings of the game: the big boys amongst the bigger boys.

And it IS happening in his time.

And suspect that is exactly what will happen. I hope it isn't LFC though.
Pity Everton have just been sold , always got on with their fans and the ones on here are sound can’t think of anyone else but need it up north to grind the rags into the ground, Preston perhaps, don’t mind them

My new word for the day.

Thing is they put everything on the Sheikh cross eyed Qatari taking over , but it’s not happening , I don’t get how they do bought it would change anything anyway, as they spend more Han anyone on players etc , having a state of the art stadium doesn’t score goals for you.

Hahahahaha rag friend still pushing that they are the biggest club as people can’t stop talking about them ..
He's got a fair point. Drove to work this morning and had Talkshite on. Some jouirnalist type programme. You should have heard the bollocks. The Man Utd way.....wingers, goals, attack, attack, attack, Fergie time - I kid you not it's exactly what he said. Sir Matt Busby, Sir Alex Ferguson......no mention of the 50 years before Busby or the 30+ years between those two. Just peddling the usual shite.

First time I've had it on for ages but it sounds like Sky want the Glazers out and are pinning hopes on Ratcliffe taking control. Kaveh bloke looks like he needs some therapy. Have I tuned into MUTV by mistake? Funny for a while but time to switch off again. Knew there was a reason I don't watch this shite.

Fantastic news coming out of united. The glazers are the siths of club ownership. Devious greedy bastards. Long May the empire reign!

Ineos dirty oil money is on its way to the Trafford buccaneers. Still trying to copy city and fucking up spectacularly.

1. Pound shop pep
2. Keeper who makes bravo look competent
3. Play the city way.
4. Dirty oil money.
5. Tried to bag a sheikh.

On and on they go. At last this new person is a Sir!!! Plenty for sly sports to chew over and declare it a white European win for the moral crusaders.

Just when the world is about to implode, along comes the basket case club to cheer us all up.

Thanks rags -:)

Yeah but having the infrastructure does. Good training ground, academy, ethos, vision.
