If Garnacho is treated any differently to Bernardo then it makes an absolute mockery of the rules.
Then we should share the email address and inundate them with complaints, observation and vitriol.
This should not be allowed to lie.

He should not be thrown to the wolves, however an identical punishment befits.
Why not? Was Bernardo's fine and a ban a warning to others? He has not learnt from what has gone before. Time to make an example for all the other PL players.

Either that or just pretend it never happened.

Just when you thought he couldn't be any more of a bell-end, I give you the oracle that is Jamie O'Hara ...

"Manchester United and Liverpool are going to be the biggest clubs in the UK forever because of their history – it’s as simple as that.

I don’t care how many trophies you win – you could win 10 Champions Leagues and you are never going to be as big as Manchester United. There’s only one team in Manchester, and that’s Man United.

History is what matters. Never in a million years are Manchester City going to be as big as Manchester United. We could be playing in 40, 50, 100 more years, we could even be playing on another planet, and United will be bigger than City. City can’t even fill their own ground! Football goes round in cycles – Manchester City are having their time now because they’ve got Pep Guardiola in charge – but I believe Man United will come back, because they’re Man United.

You can’t compare Manchester City to the likes of Real Madrid. Real Madrid and Barcelona are always going to be Real Madrid and Barcelona, and Liverpool and Manchester United are always going to be Liverpool and Manchester United – no matter what decade. They’re still the biggest clubs in the world. Manchester City are owned by a state and they’ve got Pep Guardiola as their manager, but let me tell you, that will eventually change.”
What a thick ****...

When will they ever learn - Gorilla emojis - ban incoming
Better fuckin had be, after Bernardo got a ban

I see they've announced their full year financial results, which involved a loss. Good to see they're as good off the field as they are on it.

Where does it leave them on ffp they got done on the last accounts. Do they get a clean sheet from that or does it start to stack up on the £105 million break even?

It was clear to see that Bernardo was badly effected by the treatment he received in the media following his tweet, his form and confidence were shot for a long time afterwards.

Even if Garnacho receives the same level of vilification and trial by media, which he definitely won't, I doubt it would effect him much as he seems like your typical rag player... arrogant, full of himself and generally thick as pig shit.

We’re appearing as bad as the scousers and media on this thread, demanding a ban for something most of us deem to be ‘misinformed’ and ‘without malice’.

We were calling for everyone to leave Bernardo alone, especially as Mendy wasn’t offended, and now the boots on the other foot when Onana isn’t offended we’re behaving the other way. Bizarre.

The fa set a precedent with Bernie. Post something you don't mean to be offensive and, even if the other party comes forward to support their colleague, it's still a one game ban. All I would like to see is that same rule applied here.

I kind of agree it's messed up, but the fa have no real way to decipher intent with social media. The way Bernie was treated by the media at that time, effectively branded a racist, was very poor at best and malicious at worst, so will inevitably see many blues expect to see the same punishment handed out to at least show some level of fairness.

If the fa came out and said that such a post, if you get explicit support and explanation from both sides, is not something meant to be offensive or taken as offensive, so no action taken, then that should probably have been what happened originally with Bernie, and a warning issued to be more careful. But it wasn't, so no let up for the raggy player, otherwise it becomes just another example of how the rules are seemingly changed for the rags, whether it be ffp, offsides, and then quickly changed back again for the next sap.
