In what way do they warrant "credit where its due"?

All I see is a team that gets outplayed almost every game yet somehow fluke one goal wins through a combination of favourable officiating and opposition forwards shitting their panties in front of goal.

Credit for winning games maybe?

You can't put every one of their wins down to luck. They play to their strengths and it works for them. Their winning goal yesterday came from them pushing for a winner and they got it. Look, I hate the fuckers as much as the next blue. Just looking at them from a pragmatic POV.

I don't recall saying anything about a title challenge, I merely stated that something has clicked and they've actually started going back in the right (wrong for us) direction.

You've got absolutely nothing to worry about Gazza.

They might win the odd game and even string a few together. But they're just turning corners.

The beautiful irony is that the very same media that are so desperate for them to compete again are going to be their ultimate downfall.
