It msy have been mentioned before, but why don't the rags just move to Wembley?
All their fans could fly to Heathrow just as easily as MIA and the cockney rags wouldn't have far to travel.
They wouldn't need to build a new stadium either (saving ££££s) and if they rented it from the FA the debt on the stadium would be paid off earlier.
Let's face it, they're just a brand anyway and they wouldn't be missed by a lot of Manchester residents....
It's a great shout. Why not have the 'wembley of the north' in the south, like everything else? Everyone's a winner!
Even us.

Let's hope Stockport get promoted up to the PL then or we'll have no derby match, unless of course we end up in League 1 or 2 with them ;-)

They might not be missed by Manchester residents, but they would be missed by Manchester hoteliers - which tells a story in itself.
