I think its a decades long hatred that most of us cant let go of, in your head and the rational thinking is that you obviously want them to get something this afternoon as its good for us, in my heart i hate them with every fibre of my being and i couldnt support them against a hitler all star 11 and annoyingly as is usually the case the heart overrules the head.

And helps City, how? Where are your loyalties?
Last game of the season, I'm 100% with you.

But until we mathematically NEED a favour from our lovely neighbours I'd rather see them suffer in the sunshine (or the rain/snow/fog/...etc).

I hope they get smashed into next week simply for the pleasure it will bring me.
"They" say that I need to smile more, so I'm looking at a united loss as a step forward in my "recovery".

(plus I know a woman from Newcastle, and it's nice to think about her smiling;)

No. We love our club more than we hate their's. If they were going down, it might be different. But they 're not and we have to get real. Take the hit. We need CL.
You suprise and disappoint me Pam. This is the first time in years on here I've known you prioritise common sense and pragmatism over hatred of the rags. Are you ok?x

United are irrelevant

Newcastle are not

It's that simple. It's not a 'who's a bigger blue' contest

It's not about who is the bigger blue it's about the importance of the chumps league to who we are, I have never mentioned how big a blue is related to who they would like to win.

Every matchday I want the rags to lose, if that loss means we can't get a chumps league spot under our own steam then so be it.

This is on the BBC football page. Not even mentioned the Rags on the left but and then talking about Onana being dropped. Negative press from the BBC.....??

What was it again, oh yeah, something along the lines of....

"We get nothing given to us....nothing for 5 years....everything we achieve we have done it ourselves"

I don't want a favour off Trafford Borough Black Sox today or ever. Rather earn a place than get one by default.

Bang on

I see the bastards have dropped Onana. Let's see what they get up to today. Would be great seeing them lose again, but they're not that bothered as it's all about that Euro Pontin's Cup for them and a route to the CL.

Maybe some City fans couldn't give two fucks about the chumps league? I know we will get a plethora of responses explaining how that's good for the clubs finances etc but do those savings get passed onto the fans?

Hell fucking no :)

Barcodes all the way today.
If the players had the summer off to recharge their batteries, I’d say we should absolutely qualify for next season’s CL.

However, as they have to compete in yet another ludicrous tournament, I wouldn’t be unhappy, if we had a season in the Europa.

Pep can play the kids and reserves on Thursdays, thus giving the senior squad members more rest during the season.
