It's a odd sponsorship as they don't sell their products to the public. They are a business to business company so I'm not sure what they are getting out of the sponsorship with the rags

Their last b2c sponsorship was Chevrolet who withdrew from Europe in 2013. Other noticeable sponsorships they have had is with Russian State Airline Aeroflot who have never operated a direct flight to Manchester Airport. Their demographic for consumers isn’t people with an M postcode.

Not odd for the rags. Their 2 sponsorships before that were also things that people couldn't buy. Teamviewer, which you would only know because your company's IT department installed it on your laptop, and Chevrolet, who don't sell cars in the UK.

Interesting that our sponsorships get scrutiny when certain high-profile American-owned clubs have had some very suspicious deals, like Liverpool's record-breaking kit deal with Warrior (Who? Exactly), or Chelsea's deal last season with Infinite Athlete, who were paying out £40 million - £28 million more than their annual revenue.
